Dec. 17th - The 8080 Christmas Sorting was tremendous success. We had 26
attend at JVS Arena in spite of our first taste of winter. The number of riders
worked out well, everyone had at least 20 to 30 runs, so lots of practice. We
drew teams and everyone had a chance to ride with all of the attendee's so a
good mixer and lots of fun. 1 suggestion that was offered was that we
might have an accomplished sorter give tips and advice through out the day.
Based on the Great Reception our first effort received, we will be having a
second sorting for practice, in Stettler April 25.
As was suggested we will have some experienced Sorters there with tips and
pointers. The cost will be the same at $40 for the entire day.
To put all this great practice to good use 8080 Super Series will be
adding another Sorting Class this year.
As an opportunity for beginners and novices to compete. There will be a
3 class with a $40 per ride entry
fee, and a 60% payout. we feel this is a great way to get new people involved
and enjoying the sport of Sorting. We will need a minimum of 15 teams to have
the event go ahead, and each rider will be allowed to ride 5 times and switch 1
out each time. We will continue to offer new and exciting ways to get people out
